Leszek Golec was born in 1959,\r\nhe studied at Higher School of Photography in Warsaw. Tatiana Czekalska was born in 1969, \r\nshe is a graduate from the Strzemi\u0144ski Academy of Fine Art in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a. \r\nThe artistic duo has taken part in numerous exhibitions, e.g. Construction in Process, \r\nBack in Lodz (1990); 5th International Istanbul Biennial (1997); Fauna, Nowyj Manie\u017c, Moscow (1999); \r\nPostindustrial Sorrow, Nassauischer Kunstverein, Wiesbaden (2000); \r\nRemastering, Art in General, New York (2002); All the creatures big and small, Zach\u0119ta, Warsaw (2010); \r\nEyes Looking for the Head to Inhabit, MS2, \u0141\u00f3d\u017a (2011); Contract Killer, Atlas Sztuki, \u0141\u00f3d\u017a (2012); \r\nEcce Animalia, the Museum of Sculpture, Oro\u0144sko (2014); Ecovention Europe, Museum De Domijnen, Sittard (2017). \r\n(\u2026) in their works of art, the ethics of life, they have been devoted to, transforms into the sublime aesthetics. \r\nThe aesthetics with the basic assumption: all the living creatures are considered to be works of the greatest art\u2026.\r\nPhilospohical aspects of the artistic output of Czekalska anod Golec provide\r\na new interdisciplinary quality aimed at even the most modest manifestations of the real life. \r\nThe artists are environmentally aware, seeking the harmony with the natural world is a part of all their works. \r\nThe duo often draws attention to other living creatures, equal to human beings.
